At our 28 October 2026 check, the US Steam page showed a $14.99 base price and a temporary $11.99 launch price after 20% off. Steam displayed the offer as ending on 12 November. These values are dated evidence, not a permanent price promise.
Ninja Kiwi’s launch diary explains that the team reduced an earlier planned $20 price to $14.99 on Steam and $9.99 on mobile. Store fees, taxes, currencies and regional pricing can produce different amounts for your account.
The official demo is free
Steam App 4377450 is the official free demo. It lets you try the game before buying and was used for Steam Next Fest. The demo and full product are separate applications in Steam search results, so confirm which page you opened.
Players who participated in the eligible demo period were offered the Morlok Frostbite pistol. That is a participation reward, not a free license for the full game. See the demo-save answer for the migration distinction.
No in-app purchases at launch
Dev Diary #21 says the launch version has no in-app purchases. It also says Ninja Kiwi expects optional purchases, a store and DLC later. The careful interpretation is: there are no IAPs at launch, but the monetization plan can expand after launch.
“Optional” does not tell us the exact future catalog, prices or effect on balance. This guide will not invent a season pass or premium currency until Ninja Kiwi publishes it.
