Zombie Assault: Resurgence Player Count
SteamDB showed 861 concurrent Steam players at this site’s 28 October 2026 launch-day check. The number is a dated Steam-only snapshot, not a live cross-platform total.
Launch-day Steam player snapshot
All three values matched because the game had just launched when the page was checked. They should not be expected to remain equal. A launch-hour number is an early observation, not a verdict on long-term population.
What the SteamDB number measures
Concurrent players are Steam users running the game at the same time. “Players right now” is a moment; the 24-hour peak is the highest moment within that period; all-time peak is the highest recorded Steam concurrency so far.
It is not the number of copies sold, unique daily users, active Ninja Kiwi accounts or players currently in public matchmaking. One person can count in different time windows, and a solo player still contributes to concurrency.
It excludes the mobile population
Zombie Assault: Resurgence also launched on iOS and Android. SteamDB cannot turn Steam’s concurrent-user signal into a complete cross-platform population. Cross-platform multiplayer may let those audiences meet, but the public Steam chart still represents one platform family.
Private groups, solo play, region, difficulty and mission selection also fragment the visible matchmaking pool. A global concurrent count cannot guarantee an instant match for a specific queue.
Use SteamDB for the current value
This site deliberately does not label a hard-coded launch snapshot as “live.” Open the linked SteamDB chart for the current public Steam value and read its timestamp. Compare like with like: same day of week, similar hour and similar patch context.
If the tracker is unavailable, do not substitute Steam review count or Discord membership. Those measure different things.
Population is only one matchmaking factor
For a better co-op experience, try peak hours in your region, use the official community, and keep mission or difficulty filters flexible. Steam lists cross-platform multiplayer for the game, which can make Steam concurrency an incomplete predictor of the actual party pool.
