Zombie Assault: Resurgence Release Date
Zombie Assault: Resurgence released on 28 October 2026 for Steam, iOS and Android. The paid full game and free Steam demo are separate products.
Zombie Assault: Resurgence is available now
Older previews and wish-list pages described the game as upcoming. Those pages are historical. Ninja Kiwi’s launch diary and current Steam store state confirm the full release on 28 October 2026.
Steam and mobile launched together
Ninja Kiwi announced the date for Steam, iOS and Android. Steam currently identifies both Windows and macOS as supported desktop platforms. The official game site links to the mobile stores, while Steam is the authority for desktop compatibility and features.
Steam lists online co-op for up to four players, cross-platform multiplayer, full controller support, Steam Cloud, Family Sharing and achievements. A Ninja Kiwi account is required. “Cross-platform” should not be stretched into an unsupported claim about demo-to-full-game progression.
From demo to launch
Steam demo
The separate demo appeared for Steam Next Fest, giving players an early look and the Morlok Frostbite participation reward.
Gameplay trailer
The official 74-second trailer showed the top-down combat, squad roles and dense waves.
Release trailer
Ninja Kiwi’s cinematic trailer formally announced the 28 October launch.
Full release
The game launched on Steam and mobile with a paid base product and no in-app purchases at launch.
The demo remains separate
The full release does not erase the demo listing. Steam search can show both, which makes App ID the reliable identifier. Use 2747660 for the paid game and 4377450 for the demo.
If a guide still calls October 2026 a future date, check when it was published. This wiki attaches a verification date to price, player-count and development claims so that launch-week facts are not disguised as timeless data.
